We rarely talk about new movie releases on www.canadahifi.com but this is one we just couldn’t miss.  This may just be the most anticipated Blu-ray release ever!  To the delight of sci-fi fans around the world, George Lucas has finally released all six Star Wars films on Blu-ray disc.  The Star Wars feature films are available in three distinct sets, with the highest picture and audio quality, along with extensive special features.   Star Wars: The Complete Saga (MSRP: $179) is a 9-disc set which includes all six films, with three additional discs that contain more than 30 hours of extensive special features including never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes, an exploration of the exclusive Star Wars archives, and much more. Star Wars: Prequel Trilogy (MSRP: $89) is a 3-disc set which includes Episodes I-III, while Star Wars: Original Trilogy (MSRP: $89) contains a 3-disc set consisting of Episodes IV-VI.  www.starwars.com

Note: The suggested retail prices above appear to be much higher than what these box sets are actually selling for at stores.  It looks like The Complete Saga retails for $79, while the two trilogies can be picked up for just $45/each.
