Steinway Lyngdorf has just recently launched two new boundary woofer models, the LS-R210 and the LS-R212, which serve to substantially bolster their product line.

Steinway Lyngdorf has been using its proprietary boundary woofer technology for some time – which is an alternative technology to standard subwoofers.  The boundary woofer, if placed in the recommended corner position, is designed to allow the first critical reflections and direct sound to arrive simultaneously at the listening position.  Steinway Lyngdorf claims that this timed arrival leads to an improvement in sound attack and timing.

The new LS-R210 and LS-R212 boundary woofers introduce a new rear-firing design.  The speakers are available in either high gloss black or white, as well as a neutral matte black. Cabinets have been designed to be as compact as possible, while maintaining performance objectives.

Designed and manufactured in Denmark, the LS-R210 and LS-R212 boundary woofers introduce a rear-firing design to the collection. Elegant and refined, the cabinets are large enough for powerful performance but small and discreet enough to complement your interior design, not compete against it. The new boundary woofers are available in either high gloss black or white, as well as a neutral matte black.

Recently Steinway Lyngdorf launched a new iPad and Android tablet app, Experience. The app is a magazine-style digital distribution platform that provides an enhanced opportunity to learn about Steinway Lyngdorf’s commitment to research and the groundbreaking technologies.
